KHOR participated in three-day Pakistan-Afghanistan Pukhtun Festival 2018, conceived by the renowned anthropologist and documentary filmmaker Samar Minallah Khan along with the three co-directors (Maria Usman, Lubna Farooq and Shandana Khan) at Islamabad. For peace building and highlighting the issues of women, the framers of the festival used culture as a tool of bridging a gap and connecting people and women activists.
The founding member of Khor from FATA, Dr Noreen Naseer highlighted the issues of tribal people and her struggle for the empowerment of women in FATA. Ms. Shahida Shah was sitting on the panel of celebrating diversity, highlighted the issues of minorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
